CDBurnerXP is a very good alternative to commercial burning software. Features: Over 30 integrated language files, burn CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW und DVD-RW data disks, burn On-the-Fly (direct copy from e.g. DVD drive to CD writer), multi-session data discs, create bootable CDs, create and burn ISO Images, Burn-Proof. Burn audio and mp3 CDs. Supported audio formats: WAV, MP3, Ogg and WMA. The latest Windows Media Player, the latest Windows Media Format and .NET Framework 2.0 (or higher) is required to get full WMA support. Current Version of CDBurnerXP: 4.2.7.1893

You can create your own portable CDBurnerXP with Universal Extractor or simply copy the CDBurnerXP folder to your flash drive after you installed the program. The .NET Framework 2.0 have to be installed on the target computers!

InfraRecorder
With InfraRecorder you can burn normal data disks (DAO = Disc-at-once) and multi-session data discs (SAO = Session-at-once), direct copies (On-the-Fly), ISO-Images (ISO and BIN/CUE images), bootable CDs, audio CDs (WAV, MP3, OGG, ISO und WMA), mixed-mode (Datea and audio) and dual-layer DVDs. At present there are 40 languages integrated.

ImgBurn is a really good burning application which can burn Audio-CDs, Data-CDs, DVD Video-CDs, HD-DVD Video-CDs, Blue-Ray Video-CDs and bootable Data-CDs. Burn Images (ISO, BIN, IMG, CUE, NRG, DVD, DI, GI, MDS und PDI) or create image files from an existing disc.
